Madhup Mohta

Diplomat, Editor & Poet

Madhup Mohta is a writer and diplomat. He has served in in Hong Kong, Nepal, Thailand and the United Kingdom. He has also held the positions of Director of the Indian Council of Cultural Relations and Director of the Foreign Service Institute. He writes in both Hindi and English. His collection of Hindi poetry, Samay, Sapana Aur Tum, was awarded the 2003 Maithili Sharan Gupt Puruskar. His latest anthologies Tumhare Liye Bas and Tumhare Pyar Ka Mausam will be released this year. As editor, he has worked on the ICCR quarterlies, Gagananchal and Indian Horizons, Atalji By Ranga, At Home in the World and Indian Foreign Policy : Challenges and Opportunities.
