Is it necessary to register?

Yes, registration is required for all attendees, under the category of General (free), Festival Delegate (paid) or Press (accredited). All persons above the age of 12 years must register. Please visit the Registration Page to register.

What are the ways in which I can register?

A person can register online by filling and submitting the form available on the festival website. You may also choose to register on the ground.

Is there a registration fee for general participants?

Online general registrations until 23 January 2018 will be free.
On ground/on the spot registrations:

  • Free registration and Festival Access Tag collection will take place from 21 – 23 January 2018, 10am to 6pm.
  • A registration charge of INR 250 (inclusive of taxes) per person will be applied for those registering from 24-29 January 2018, 8am to 6pm.

Please note, should you damage or misplace your Access Tag, the registration process will need to be redone and a fee of INR 300 will be charged for replacing the tag.

How can I check if my registration has been successful?

You will receive a confirmation via email and/or SMS. Upon arrival at the Festival Hub, please present the code, email or SMS along with a valid photo ID card at the General Registration Counter to receive your Festival Access Tag, which must be worn at all times for the duration of the Festival.

After registering where can I collect my access tag from?

Upon arrival at the Festival Hub, present your code, email or SMS along with a valid photo ID card at the General Registration Counter to receive your Festival Access Tag, which must be worn for the duration of the entire Festival.
Your unique Festival Access Tag may be collected from the Festival Hub (Diggi Palace) at the times/dates stated below:
21-23 January 2018, 10am to 6pm
24-29 January 2018, 8am to 6pm

Do I need to register my child for the Festival?

Persons aged 12 years and above must be registered individually. Children under the age of 12 years may enter on the basis of their parents’ registration. Please carry a valid ID card (or photocopy) of your child.

Can I register my child as a Festival Delegate?

All persons aged 12 years and above must register as a Delegate to enter the Delegates Only areas. Please carry valid photo ID cards of your children if they are accompanying you, irrespective of their age.

What is the minimum age to register as a Festival Delegate?

The minimum age to register as a Festival Delegate is 12 years.

Can I register multiple people on a single email address?

Yes, we do make this option available for your convenience.

Can I pick up my delegate pass/badge before the festival starts so as to avoid the queue?

Pre Festival registration and collection of badges will be between 21 – 23 January 2018, 10am to 6pm from the Festival Hub.

My payment has gone through, but I have not received a confirmation of my purchase. Has my registration been successful?

Are there any discounts/special benefits if I’m a returning participant/delegate?

All Festival Delegates, new and returning, registering for five days can take advantage of our ‘5 for the Price of 4’ offer, where you’ll only have to pay for four days but can attend the Festival all five days.

Can I do group registrations for my organisation/school/college?

Yes, we do make this option available for your convenience. Please select the corresponding option when filling out the registration form.

What is School Registration/School Days?

School Registrations are exclusively for schools bringing their students to the Festival.
In 2018, the 25th, 26th and 29th January will be allocated as School Days, wherein schools can bring batches of their students accompanied by teachers. All students and schools should pre-register online for free to ensure that you do not have to stand in long queues when you arrive at the Festival Hub. On ground registration will cost INR 300 per person.
School groups will not be allowed to visit on the 27th & 28th January. Individual students with their guardians may attend independently with family and friends.

Please Note: All students must carry their school ID cards for security reasons.
What documents do I need to bring to the Festival?

Everyone (including children) is required to carry a valid photo identification of themselves (photocopies will be accepted), their registration code or a printed copy of their registration. Absence of any required documents may result in refusal of entry.
