Jehangir R. Patel has been the editor and publisher of Parsiana magazine since 1973. From 1977 till 2019, he lectured on writing/reporting skills at the Xavier Institute of Communications. Aside from Parsiana, he has edited and published Kaiser-E-Hind, Opinion, Voyage and Signature magazines. After graduating in political science from Yale University in 1968, Patel worked with The San Francisco Examiner and The Hartford Times. He returned to India in 1970 and edited Freedom First (FF) along with the late Minoo Masani.
