Ursula Sims-Williams

Ursula Sims-Williams is lead curator of Persian at the British Library. She jointly curated its Mughal India exhibition and ‘The Everlasting Flame: Zoroastrianism in History and Imagination’ exhibition at SOAS and the National Museum Delhi. She currently heads the Library’s ‘Digital Access to Persian Manuscripts’ project.

A packed programme of talks and performances animate four venues at the Library, celebrating South Asia’s literary heritage, oral and performing arts, books and ideas. Speakers confirmed so far include William Dalrymple, Meghnad Desai, Paulo Lemos Horta, Suki Kim, Ashis Ray, Suhel Seth, Preti Taneja and Shashi Tharoor.
