Saif Mahmood

Saif Mahmood is a New Delhi-based author, commentator, translator and rights activist. An Advocate of the Supreme Court of India, he is a leading name in the Urdu world and globally known for his passionate recitations of Urdu poets. Dr. Mahmood’s Beloved Delhi: A Mughal City and her Greatest Poets is a much awaited publication that seeks to present the literary arc of the Indian capital through the lens of the Urdu poets of Mughal India and is due to be released in August.
