Moustafa Hassan

Moustafa Hassan is a British-Egyptian artist, painter, teacher and master of Arabic calligraphy based in London. His works assimilate classical Arabic scriptsKufic, Naskh, Thuluth, Diwaniwith the formal conventions of modern art. His signatures include Square Kufic, digital layering, the intricate calligram and mixed media pieces. Hassan’s work is inspired by nature, beauty and love for the Creator. He teaches Arabic calligraphy and language courses at SOAS University and at the Sharek Centre in London.
