Malini Roy

Malini Roy is Head of Visual Arts at the British Library, responsible for collections of South Asian art and photography. She curated the Library’s exhibition ‘Mughal India: Art, Culture and Empire’ in 2012 and has written extensively on Mughal painting, specifically on the historical portraits of the Mughal emperors Muhammad Shah and Aurangzeb.

Speakers confirmed so far include William Dalrymple, Meghnad Desai, Paulo Lemos Horta, Suki Kim, Ashis Ray, Suhel Seth, Preti Taneja and Shashi Tharoor.
