Kishwar Desai

Kishwar Desai is Chair of TAACHT, founding the world’s first Partition Museum at Amritsar, Punjab. She won the Costa First Novel Award in 2010 for her novel Witness the Night, which led to a trilogy of detective novels. After her critically acclaimed Darlingji about Indian cinema, she has just completed a book on Indo-British history. She helped set up the Gandhi Statue at Westminster Square and was a TV anchor, producer and channel head in a previous avatar.
