John Falconer

John Falconer was formerly Lead Curator of Visual Arts at the British Library. His duties included responsibility for the Library’s photographic collections, which are particularly strong on historical collections of India.  He has published widely on the subject of photography in Asia and has also curated photographic exhibitions in India, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, China and elsewhere. He is now an independent scholar and writer.
