Emma Slade

Emma Slade is a Buddhist nun, ordained in the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan. Her journey from high flying banker to Buddhist nun is detailed in her book Set Free. She is the founder of the UK charity Opening Your Heart to Bhutan, which is focused on helping children with special needs in Bhutan.
