Karin Pettersson is a Swedish journalist and author. She is a 2017 Harvard Nieman and Berkman Klein Fellow. She is director of public policy at Schibsted Media Group and chairwoman of WAN-IFRA Media Freedom Board. Previously, she was political editor-in-chief at Aftonbladet, Scandinavia’s biggest daily newspaper. She is the co-founder and former editor-in-chief of Fokus, Sweden’s leading newsmagazine.
