Julian Meyrick is Professor of Creative Arts at Flinders University, Artistic Counsel of the State Theatre Company of South Australia and a member of the Currency House editorial committee and the Council for Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences board. He has directed many award-winning theatre productions and has written extensively on Australian theatre, history and cultural policy. His books include Australian Theatre After the New Wave and What Matters? Talking Value in Australian Culture, co-authored with Robert Phiddian and Tully Barnet.
