Teresa Rehman is an award-winning journalist and founder-editor of The Thumb Print, an international webzine with a northeastern soul. She has previously worked with India Today magazine, The Telegraph and Tehelka. Rehman has won numerous awards, including the 2010 WASH Media Award in the English category for excellence in reporting on water, sanitation and hygiene-related issues, the Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Award for Reporting from J&K & Northeast (Print) for two consecutive years and the 2007 Sarojini Naidu Prize for best reporting on women and the Panchayati Raj. Her book The Mothers of Manipur is forthcoming.
