Manju Kapur


Manju Kapur is the author of Difficult Daughters, which won the Commonwealth Prize for Best First Novel (Eurasia region). Her other books include A Married Woman, which was shortlisted for the Encore Award,  Home, nominated for the Hutch-Crossword Prize, and The Immigrant, which was shortlisted for the IndiaPlaza Golden Quill Award and the 2010 DSC Prize of South Asian Literature. The film rights to her novel Custody have been bought by Balaji Telefilms. Her most recent novel is Brothers. She has also edited Shaping the World: Women Writers on Themselves.
